Facilitators are members who help out others at the space. They have been granted extra privileges (aka responsibilities) by being present and showing an aptitude for maintaining the space. You can see who is a facilitator by looking at their role in discord.
What to expect
- Keep the doors open for new members to come by
- Deal with visitors and give them a tour of our space if necessary
- Signing up members by pointing them to the bottom of our website, and having them sign the Member Agreement and liability waiver. Those go into the drop box by the lightswitch in the Back office
- Train folks how to use equipment, and make sure people are doing things safely
- Recite the FAQs word for word, while standing on The Bible(not true)
- Maybe think about Hosting Events.
